Thaha Hussain K P – Founder & CEO

Hussain K P  is the Chief Executive Officer of  Telus Group of Companies.

Hussain is currently helming Telus Networks, Telus Mobility and Telus IoT with an annual turnover of  over 100 Million Rupees.

Hussain brings over 15 years of experience to the business with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications infrastructure implementation project, WiFi, IOT and Business Development and leading the development and implementation of overall organization’s strategy.

An Engineering graduate in Telecommunication, started his entrepreneurial journey with Telus Networks in 2006, two years out of college. Telus Networks  is now a leading turnkey service provider in telecom industry.

He has a Masters in Business Administrations from SMUDE specializing in Operations Management.

In last 6 Years he has been focusing on OFC implementation in South India and Special Projects within Telus Group of companies.

His Philosophy: “To run a company, you have to take pride in the little things, and strive to be the best at everything that you do. Overseeing the complete operation, formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business and maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, keeps me motivated”

Hussain’s  book “Internet of Things and Smart Cities in India” discusses the challenges of Smart Cities Mission and explains the requirement  of  citizen involvement more than a ceremonial participation in governance of it.  It dwells into people involvement in the definition of the Smart City, in decisions on deploying Smart Solutions, implementing reforms and oversight during implementing and designing post-project structures in order to make the Smart City developments sustainable.
